With referense to your telegram of the 20th. March and my reply of yesterday's date on the subject of parcels addressed to one W. P. Sohmidt, I have the honour to enclose herewith a copy of a minute from the Chief Postal Censor from which you will see that though certain parcels addressed to Schmidt under various aliases were allowed to proceed in ignorance it is not the intention of this Government to remove

the prohibition against him.

For convenience of reference I enclose a paragraph

of my telegram of yesterday's date, and I take this opportunity of acknowledging the receipt of your telegram of the 3rd. April regarding certain goods posted from Tokyo.
